Position: Coordinator for Langmaster English Club ‘ShareZone’

(known as “ShareZone Foreign Teacher” or English Club Coordinator )

Location: Langmaster Centers 

• Location 1: No 169 Xuan Thuy Str., Cau Giay Dist., Hanoi, Vietnam
• Location 2: No 179 Truong Chinh Str., Thanh Xuan Dist., Hanoi, Vietnam

Club Sessions Available (to choose from): 

• Sunday Mornings 9:00-11:00 (*Fixed schedule every week)
• Saturday Mornings 9:00-11:00 (To be confirmed)
• Wednesday Evenings 19:00-21:00 (To be confirmed)
• Sunday Afternoons 14:00-16:00 (To be confirmed)

*All sessions are 2-hour long

*Sessions can be canceled if there are fewer than 10 students)

General Description: ShareZone is the name of Langmaster’s English Club, where students come to mainly practice English speaking skills. Beside 2 main lessons per week in Langmaster, students can sign up for this club session to practice using the language in a more fun and interactive way. The club lessons focus on building communication skills and fluency, with some practice on pronunciation and vocabulary to help students speak with more confidence. Lesson plans with instruction, games, handouts, slides and materials are provided. The Foreign Teacher mainly follows this lesson plan only with some adaptation where necessary. 

Direct Manager: Head of ShareZone 

Responsibilities:

• Be present at least 5 minutes before the club session and help with the check-in and preparation. Always exhibit punctuality.
• Follow (with some adaptation) the premade lesson plan made by the RnD Department); Organize activities, facilitate and give constructive feedback.
• Recognize and correct students’ errors while speaking
• Work collaboratively with the teaching assistants and create a friendly, safe, encouraging and fun environment for students to speak.
• Manage learning resources and facilities
• Maintains required documentation and reports (about 10-20 minutes/week, including writing reports, brief team meetings, checking emails)
• Display positive attitude, integrity, respect for others, honesty and responsibility as an appropriate model for students

Yêu cầu công việc:

Requirement: 

• Must-have: 

• At least 3 months of experience teaching English to Vietnamese students (of any age). On admission, we also provide some training (about 1 hour) to get you ready for the club’s programs. 

• Good English proficiency, especially clear English pronunciation 

(will be checked in the interview)

Nice-to-have: A Teaching Certificate (TELF, TESOL, CELTA, etc.) or an English Certificate (TOEFL, IELTS, etc.)
